I have a very large audience, considering this blog is online. My main audience, however, will be my teacher and my classmates. Again, considering that this is an online blog, I must keep all my possible audiences in mind. I need to make this blog post appeal to any person that may stumble upon it. That person could be anyone from a future student enrolled in this course, to any random person of any age that stumbles upon it through a search engine.
As I take my fellow classmates and future students in mind, I know I need to keep this project very clear. I need to keep my ideas fresh and unique and make my writing appealing enough to keep all audiences interested. The other classmates and future students will be working on projects similar to mine and may look at my own to give them ideas or motivation. They will want to read something that doesn’t sound the same as other projects they are viewing. This also goes for my teacher. He will be reading many other projects that are along the exact same guidelines as mine. He won’t want to read something that sounds exactly the same as all the other papers he’s read.

While I take my other possible audience of internet viewers in mind, I don’t face as much of a challenge. If they happen to stumble across my blog, I would imagine it would be through a search engine, so they would be looking for something relevant to my blog post. The main challenge I will face will be to make sure I am very descriptive when I talk about things from the book, because they will probably not have our book and won’t know what I am talking about when I refer to it unless I describe it well. I will need to make my argument for “Sunset” clear and make sure my audience knows exactly what point I am trying to get across. I need to keep all audiences in mind when I develop my argument and make sure I address anyone who could possibly be reading my blog post.
There are many things that could go wrong with any project. With this blog post, I must watch the way I state things and make sure my voice stays more professional, as opposed to casual, as if I’m having a general conversation with someone. I need to stay focused and not venture off topic. I must keep my ideas very clear and make sure I explain myself thoroughly. When describing the photograph and using the terms from the book, I will need to make sure I explain the terms and make sure everyone knows exactly what I am saying.
The best possible outcome of this project would be to help another student do well on their own project or give them a fresh look at the project and help motivate them for their own project. I would love to encourage others to look deeper into the photography they look at and find the deeper meaning behind it. It would be great to encourage them to find additional arguments in the photograph I have chosen. I would be very happy to know I helped someone better understand the meaning behind my photograph or help them better understand how to search and find the argument in other pieces of photography.
